Always use a BLACK "ultra" microfiber cloth for cleaning the lenses - because the black cloth will **reveal even the smallest abrasive particle, granule, etc.<br>**you will avoid scratching the lenses  - use nothing else and always shake it out before and after every use.<br>2. Before inserting the new lenses, carefully inspect the inner left and right inner chamber for any particles, debris etc. on the surface of the display screens.<br>If you notice any FOD (specks, dots, etc) on the screens, use non-freon based canned air, or an air compressor within a coalescing filter inline (to catch moisture from the tank). , etc. If you still notice specks<br>of dust and/or fine particles while looking through the lenses, remove the lenses again and repeat the process mentioned above until all dust, particles, etc. are no longer visible<br>(I had to do this 3 times on my first mod 5 times on my 2nd mod because of the dust in the air - This issue is extremely common and will occur most every time)<br>Hint for success: run a steamy shower and swap your lenses right outside the door - The steam will remove 99% of the dust in the air .<br>3. Make sure to NOT remove the black gum adhesive trim on the edge of the lens sockets after removing the original lenses.<br>Sometimes it may get pealed off a bit - that's ok as long as the majority of it is still intact.  This is what holds the lenses on!<br>4. Invest in a bottle of high quality lens cleaning mist spray (Koala is a great brand) for routine cleaning.
